- From north the highway A1 Florence - Rome Valdichiana exit then SS.326 (about 20 Km).

- From east (Siena) or west (Perugia) motorway link Siena - Bettolle - Perugia.

History

The origins of the city of Montepulciano are Etruscan.

The city was note in the 715 like "mountain or castle Politiano".

In the Medieval Montepulciano had contended between Florence and Siena.

After the 1511 Montepulciano spent under Florence until at 1861.
