Classical Chianti Reserve

Until from the vintage the good grapes come destine to the reserve and their ownership gets rich with the aging in the barrels of wood.
Today they aren't more used the big strokes in chestnut tree or oak of once while they are used containers of smaller dimensions, French barriques or strokes in oak, that allow better transfer of their aromas to the wine.
The wine has seasoned in the wood for a period more or less along according to the dimensions of the barrel for then have put in bottle and finally to the market.

The Consortia

It has ancient origins. It goes up again to the "League of the Chianti," authentic military alliance created from Florentine Republic for unite the populations of the villages in defense of their earths from Siena and from Pisa.

  • Taste: harmonic, dry, savory, that gets sharper with the time to the soft velvety.

  • The red cooked meats to the grate are accompanied with the wines of middle body.

  • While the red cooked meats in a more elaborate way are from combine to the more complex wines.

  • The dishes of seasoned cheeses get married with the big reserves.
